Master Music

What is the Master Music program?

The Master Music program offers students a classroom music course at a more advanced level than the regular course that is available to all students. Students who can already read music to some extent and who already play an instrument (or sing) are given opportunities to accelerate their learning and skill development.

The activities and units of work undertaken in the Master Music course link closely with the Instrumental Music Program and students are expected to bring their instruments to class on a regular basis. The Master Music Program offers a three-year course of study that leads directly to Senior Music and Music Extension subjects.
