Year 7-10
Business and
Economics
All students at Sandgate will study Business and
Economics as prescribed in the Australian Curriculum. The content covered during these years
include:
- microeconomics;
- macroeconomics;
- general business studies.
The teaching of the use of various computer programs
will be integrated into classroom delivery.
Year 11 and 12
Business
Students will learn to apply theories to a range of
businesses at different stages in the business life cycle. They will develop a
range of research skills in order to solve real-world problems.
Accounting
Students will learn how to apply theories to record
and report on financial aspects of a business. They will use industry-standard
accounting software during the delivery of this subject.
Certificates and
Diplomas
Various certificates and diplomas are offered through
the school and through private providers.
