Year 7
Students will study:
3 x70 mins of English, Mathematics and Social Science
2 x70 mins Science
1x70 mins of Japanese or German
1x70 mins Arts (music, drama, dance, visual art)x70 mins Arts (music, drama, dance, visual art)
2x70 mins Technology (ICT, Manual Arts, Home Economics, Business)
2x70 mins (HPE)
1x70 mins Pastoral Care
Students who need to catch up on their literacy will do one extra literacy lesson instead of Japanese or German.
The curriculum will be differentiated into classes:
Compass Program – Extension, core, support (literacy/numeracy) (ICT - computer rooms, library or laptop racks)
Students will participate in a Year 7 camp in Week 5, Term 1.
Year 8
Students will study:

Immerse IT (ICT 1-1 device) or the best components of both these programs may be combined if numbers are not sufficient to justify two classes

Students will have a home room, but all Year 8 home rooms will not be in the same block. Students will participate in a regular timetable with different teachers for different classes.
Students will participate in a Year 8 camp at the start of Term 4.
Year 9
Students will study:

2x70 min Social Science (rotation of History & Civics, Georgraphy & Business)
2 Elective subject of 2x70 mins each from Arts (music, drama, dance, visual art) or Technology (ICT, Manual Arts, Home Economics, German or Japanese)
2x70 mins (HPE) or (ADP)
1x70 mins Pastoral Care
