At Sandgate DSHS, students can participate in programs that
are offered by tertiary institutions.
Examples include Start QUT,
Enhanced Studies Program UQ and Uni
Step Up ACU.
These programs allow students to complete one
university subject while still at school, which may then be used as credit
towards a student’s university course upon completion of Year 12. Furthermore, students may earn QCE points as
part of the successful completion of the subject.
To participate, students must meet selection criteria.
