Sandgate DSHS is fortunate to have a Chaplain at our school for three days per week. The Chaplain's office is located in C Block (opposite the Uniform Shop).
A school Chaplain is a safe person for young people to connect with at school, providing a listening ear, caring presence and a message of hope. They care for students who are working through a range of issues which could impact a student's journey through school life. Essentially, Chaplains provide Social, Emotional and Spiritual support to school communities.
Chaplains run positive, fun activities within the school in order to create a caring and supportive school community.
If you would like to know more about the chaplaincy service please contact the school office.
